Bartonella bacilliformis عامل اتیولوژیک بیماری کاریون یا تب ارورویا می باشد. در عفونت با این باکتری یک مدل جالبی از اختصاصی بودن میزبان انسانی نشان داده می شود. تفاوت های قابل ملاحظه در یافته های بالینی بیماری کاریون سازگاری پیچیده این باکتری با میزبان انسانی را ناشی از پایداری بیش از حد آن، باقی ماندن به صورت مخزن برای انتقال از طریق ناقلین و فرار از سیستم ایمنی می دانند. این رویدادها مکانیزم های بیوشیمیایی و ژنتیکی را در بر می گیردکه هم در سلول میزبان و هم در سلول باکتریایی وجود دارند. در این مطالعه مروری، بر پروتئین هایی که در کنش و واکنش بین Bartonella bacilliformis و سلول میزبان دخالت دارند تمرکز شده است. تعدادی از این پروتئین ها مثل flagellin, Brps, IalB, FtsZ, Hbp/Pap و سایر پروتئین های غشاء خارجی آنتی ژن های پروتئینی بالقوه ای هستند و می توانند به عنوان کاندیدهایی برای تهیه و توسعه واکسن مورد استفاده قرار گیرند. |
