Among these, HIV RNA TESTING, especially APTIMA HIV RNA ASSAY and fourth generation EIA tests can detect P24 antigens, IgG and IgM antibodies. These tests are highly sensitive and highly recommended, which are approved by the FDA and CDC organizations. In addition, the other new diagnostic method is the using of MicroRNA as a novel diagnostic biomarker for HIV. In this strategy difference between the miRNAs are measured to determine which biomarkers are stable, identifiable, robust, affordable, and are suitable for diagnosis, prognosis and follow-up patients.
